Hairy Oak aka Flame She Oak
Six sided modified Slimline. The timber was right angle cross cut, handfinished ( not for the fainthearted)
This timber is quite sensitive with the rays softer than the timber and subject to being hard and brittle, cut it at your own peril at right angles.
Regards Peter.

A fantastic look at your excellent craftsmanship, superb pen Peter. They don't come much better than that in a slim line.

I want a better picture! My eyes must be going...
I can see the end-grain in one facet, but the others are just vague, black blobs. [sigh]

Hiya Peter
I see you have been playing with your mill again. Looking good as usual. I love your hex pens
You either have some seriously bright lights or that Ozzy sun is a killer Are you using a flash? My pics are anything but great and I'm certainly no photo pro, but I think your pics don't always show just how very cool your stuff is. You've given me great advice before and I'd gladly share the little I know about pics with you. E-mail me if I can help
All the best
Steven
