    Hi guys, it's been some time since I showed my face here and I confess that I kind of faded out as most folks here were posting on 'That Other Site' anyway, so it seemed pointless to me to visit both.
    However, I started to notice that several of the Aussie guys didn't visit much anymore but I missed you buggers!!

    Well I've been lurking the last couple of days and must admit that this site has grown tremendously and now seems to be a great alternative and quite capable of standing on it's own. I'm sorry I wasn't part of that growth.

    If I may, then I look forward to chatting to some old acquaintances again.

    Good to see you back again Skiprat I am sure we all would like to see you and your expertise back on a regular basis. I believe I may be one of those guilty of not visiting THAT forum as often as I use too but I think with facebook and other avenues these days we/I have spoken to alot of the guys through Facebook.

    Skiprat ! as retired fitter and turner I have often been inspired by your "special creations" and in the end the forums are supposed to do just that, with lots of help and guidance along the way whether just a "hobby" or even a small business there are no limits to creativity and no end to the path of creation ,always a new door opening to get stuck into hehe. Time is sometimes the enemy so not all can spread themselves too thinly over the internet , me I don't even have time to photograph most of my work as usually behind in my market schedule cheers~ John
