Help to make a design to turn a pen
I am looking to turn a pen in Australian rules football colors the design is black jumper with a sash from the left shoulder down across to the right hip. I have trouble working out where to start and finish the sash so it stays even from one side to the other, if anyone knows a program or anything else so I can work it out would be great.

I'd work out the approximate angle and i'm assuming here that you'd be using acrylics, set the saw up and chop in a laminate of the other colour, reglue, resquare it, turn it up as per normal.
As long as you drill exactly centred it should be uniform width, it will "appear" slightly wider depending on the curve you turn it to and the angle you put in the laminate as you'd be uncovering "more" of the laminate at its edges, i dont know of a way around that.
Neal.

Sorry Redturner I cannot help you with that problem and the only advice I can offere you is that it better be a RED sash that goes accross the black jumper

Black and white is better!!--meanwhile, I think that a wedge put in the whole length of the blank at 45 degrees would probably do the job, Amos
