So now my female one has just shedded last night and I want to try the same thing coz the first one looked awesome just need some help to see what I did wrong and what I can do better next time. I just order some real molds from the USA so that wont be the problem this time I have two weeks till they get here can anyone help me PPPPPPPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE

I have never done one but I would say cover it with CA and fold some over hang into the end of the tube and cover that with CA to. After you cast them you can clean out the inside of the tube. Good luck.

DO NOT use CA on shed skins, it melts them
I did a WIP on some a while back, I'll look for it.
edit: here it is - looks like I had some bubble roblems too. I have found spraying with water based acrylic before casting helps other things, ensure plenty of curing of the spray before casting, but check it doesn't dissolve the shed skin first on a scrap. Also painting on the resin before casting helps, pressure too.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new
