His and hers
Got green eyed with all these "pen wizards " doing impossible things hehe, so put my engine lathe to work and came up with this "diamond faceted ,aluminium ,copper sprayed ,and resin cast" hehe , each facet is diamond shaped and like a pyramid ,comes to a sharp point 4 sided , so there , because I like to cast 2 at a time my wife chipped in with a hearts and roses themed blank ,all good fun , cheers ~ John
and my attempt at a closeup
G'day all !Enjoy your stay !!!

Very nice.

You really have this casting thing down pat. Job well done and tell the wife she is good. The painting sure does add a whole other concept. I would have to use decals. Thanks for showing. You are setting the bar pretty high for us mere mortals you know.

Not painted hehe, she uses those cheap stickons from the "dollar shops" buy them in sheets usually , I have not done any pressure casting and so far no failures ,mind our temperatures here are usually around 30c so it does help with setting ,can cast in the morning and turn late afternoon no problems .

Very bright and cheerful, different and individual, bit like lead lighting and knurling.
Why not Rose Engines or any method to acheive those designs.
Regards Peter.

Thanks Peter ,yes it was knurling on my metal lathe ,it was aluminium knurled and drilled out to suit the sierra kits ,then painted with copper paint and cast in clear resin, the stickers on the painted tubes are holographic and come to life when viewed , simple things made to do a simple job hehe . cheers ~ John
