Default Historic Visitor Historic FTG Pine

I have sometimes shown pens made from a Historic Pine tree here in FTG that had to be chopped down. Well, Ron Johnson is the grandson of the man that planted that tree, he came in to have his VCR repaired and got to talking-he has some beaut stories- so I presented him with a slimline made from that tree, he was as pleased as Punch. It's a small world sometimes hehe, but sometimes we are led to where we need to be great story and great outcome ,sometimes we don't appreciate the small things in life enough ,what may seem a bit trivial to some of us can have real meaning and purpose to others ! All good Amos cheers ~ John

I remember clearly when the tree pens came about, why the significance in your area just up the road who planted when and why. Recently during my visit you showed me some pens and to meet a relative of the guy who planted this way is nothing short of incredible. Good on you. Best wishes. Peter.
