Hmas & plfc
These are 2 pens cast this weekend. One is the ships crest of the HMAS Stalwart. My boss served on this ship (amongst others) during his career in the Australian Navy before transfering to the air force. It is a Xmas gift for him. The background colour is white as for the navy uniform. You will probably see a small ine ahe base of the crest. This must have been something on the camera lens.
The other one is the Port Linclon Football Club in South Australia. It was made at the request of a fellow at work for his father who played A Grade football with the club 1964-1965. THe blue background is the players jumper colour. The club logo is an eagle as seen on the badge.

Very damn good Mate. My father served on the HMAS Uralba during WWII. He is now in a nursing home with dementia. I wouldn't mind getting him something like that to show his mates up there. Can you PM me with a cost please.

The decals look great daryl.
What brand of Waterslide decals do you use?
I have been using Lazertran Inkjet decal paper.
What software are you using to print the photo onto the decal?

I am no different than the other guys except I have played around with a bit of label casting but not to huge success so I am keen to hear the answer to the question that have been asked ? how do you measure the size of the label that you make for your sierra ? I have a template that David (Dj penevens) sent me but have been struggeling with it so I/we all look forward to hearing your answers soon ?
Cheers Ian

The width of the label is the length of your tube. For the length, mark a spot on the end of your tube and line it up with a mark on some paper, then roll the tube until the mark comes around again and mark the paper again. The distance between the marks on the paper is the length.
Best to try on scrap paper and cut out it out, then wet it and apply to tube to see how it fits before using lables. I then insert boxes on a blank sheet within a WORD or Powerpoint document before inserting the artwork within the boxes. Then print out a sheet on normal paper and cut one out to see if it is still the right size.
Once you have the right size, fill up a sheet full, then print away on lable paper.
Hope this helps
