Aesculus californica
Our Grandson who lives in Tassie was in Japan and sent us this and other mementos of his visit. He likes dark timber so this Stabilised Buckeye Burl was I felt most suitable to say thankyou to him.His older sister is the oldest GC at 42yrs. There are 50 GC and GGC at present,22 GC and the rest GGC. Sending it off today.

A stunning piece of timber, and I like your treatment of it Peter. You have a lot of birthdays to remember with that big family

A lovely piece of Buckeye Burl Peter. Beautiful patterning throughout and nice to see such clean lines and smooth transition from components to the barrels. Makes the Father Sing, sing. Perfection as always my friend.
