    i've seen that pen before, i know it was in the box made from pen blanks

    that is one very nice piece of wood

    That is a nice pen And I agree with the mob love that birds eye
    I do like the way you shape your streamlines

    Now is birds eye the same as a burl? I always thought birds eye was from the small branches and burl were a cancer type growth. Either way it looks great

    If you do burn it the smell will nearly be worth it.

    I have burnt a bit of huon while camping on the West coast a lot of years ago, the smell is almost as good as turning it.

    Ahhhh ! talk about camping in tassie lol, spent plenty of time in the 60s doing just that, so many fond memories.even went through the "mole creek" cave systems .which were closed off even back then hehe, Button grass plains .scaparia and other nasties was all worth it (afterwards) lol.
