Hyline Truestone
Just finished this one after having a blunder with the top barrel, hence the segmented insert.
I didnt have enough left of the Truestone blank to make a whole new barrel, so I used a leftover piece of Pearl Opal Polyresin.
I think it turned out OK, but would have prefered things to go smoothly in the first place, but thats life I guess .

I like it. Your repair effort has made an interesting feature. Can't say it isn't a unique pen.

Beautiful pen. Where does the kit come from. It's gorgeous too.

Thanks.
I was annoyed with myself when I buggered up the first bit, but I like how it has turned out.
Thanks Undies, the kit comes from Timberbits, Gold Titanium Hyline Cigar. (Or maybe its Highline)
As Ed said, very blingy, but seems to be a quality kit.

Sometimes %&*t happens but resulting fix adds to the finished product, certainly the case here IMHO, I like it.

Thought the segment was part of the design, so great save!!
Great looking pen, a real eye catcher!!
For me, I woul have used a plain gold kit. Just my taste.

Ta. Happens when you are least expecting it.
The segment looks like its meant to be there, so I wont be telling the customer its a save from a bugger-up.
I prefer the plain kits as well, but I bought this one to test it out, have been wondering what blank to use on it for a couple of months, ended up going with the Jade truestone.
Thanks Amos.
I've had some positive comments from people looking at the pen, but no one has parted with the coin yet.

Great save Iron. A lovely joining job and a really great and interesting looking pen as the final product.
