    Hi NL, just saw your photo, boy what a mess. It's going to take a lot of super glue to fix that blank.
    I think I lean to Studley's thinking. I have found the best way to turn this material is to use a skew as a scrapper.

    Have another go ,don't let it beat you.

    I agree. Mistakes can happen to anyone. Nicely explain the problem and maybe even send them some of the pieces so they can see for themselves. They should make it right. Just stay nice and professional and things should work out.
