Jack Daniels
G'day,
I posted this pic on my facebook page and it was sold in 5mins.
This is a pic of a bullet twist pen made with a genuine piece of a Jack Daniels barrel, it also features a Jack logo and an M16 rifle clip. The only time drinking and guns go together........ well maybe. I'm extremely happy with the "vintage" look I managed with this. A few mistakes contributed to that effect, but I think I can replicate them.

Very Nice work Undies that certainly makes it a different type of bullet pen and was certain to attract that special buyer.
Cheers Ian

Nice job undies. I particularly like the logo, is it see-through?
When you can sell an item to two lines of interests it should double the price.
Cheers, Ian"The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.. it can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better"

Yeah John it's off my printer a transparent transfer decal. I forgot how to do it (been a while) and damaged the image slightly, but it gives a real old barrel effect. I remember now how to do it, but for these blanks I might go the mistake way again, I'm so impressed with the result. The bloke who bought it has bought 3 pens before. I like HIM!!lol. BTW I cast some PR sierras yesterday as well and had forgotten how to do that and the PR was well and truly gelling by the time I poured but they've worked out ok, I've turned 2 today. (well three but blowouts don't count....lol.)

With the decal on transfer paper, is it just rolled on like contact, and then you apply the CA over the top so that it protects it?

G'day bassman, they are transparent film that you print on cut out your decal and place it in warm water for 30secs or so the transparency just slides off the paper, the trick is to slide it onto the sanded blank without creases, you can use a damp sponge to pat it into place and remove creases or bubbles. When I go back inside I'll let you know where I got the sheets from. Hope that helps, but if you still have questions just ask away and I'll try to answer.
