Hey Guys,
Jarrah European, sanded to 1000 wet and dry, 15 or so CA coats and Kitten #1 Auto Polish, I re shaped the top a bit, any thoughts??

Nice effort. The gloss looks pretty good but if you want real depth out of the CA finish, 1000 wet & dry is where you should be starting. Get a set of acrylic finishing (sanding) pads which go to 12000 and use the purple, light blue, grey (cant remember grits?) and you will be suprised at how much better the finish can get. I used to be happy with 2000 until I got the pads
It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Nice looking pen
I'd agree with corbs - get the micromesh pads (sandpaperman sells them)
and IMHO the background is very distracting
for a good pen it should be simpleregards
