Thanks, Arry, I use a CANON EOS 550 . I use a "light" box-if you saw it you would laugh! I will try taking a photo of it. (PS--please don't try any wiring if you are not an electrician, just so happens my job is Electronic Technician with Electrician training) Then transfer the photos to computer and use Photoshop to crop off what I don't want, then I adjust the brightness and contrast; and of course save the photo. I transfer my photos to Photobucket, and in PhotoBucket I resize to 800 x 600 so that the photos are able to be seen on our Forum by all. From PhotoBucket I "copy" and then "paste" into our Forum thread. and that is how I do it. I could of course just do a resize of the photos on my computer and then post the resized photos into the thread. Amos

I do indeed own a PROPER purchased light box, but it is too large and impractical to set up in the workshop-- absolutely no room, that dear old cardboard box is sitting precariously on the Belt Sander!!!, once used it is gently moved onto the Laser Engraver so that the Sander can be used. My shed needs to be at least 4 times larger than it is so I can lay out machinery, and tools decently and in an ordely fashion----maybe one day! Amos

Great looking pen Amos. The photos show it off well.
I have only just recently built myself a lightbox, I wish I had seen yours first. I could have saved myself a bit of trouble

Amos,
What can I say about your light box (something about cobblers shoes) perhaps but your set up is subject to a lot of flare, been thinking lately about using those new LED bulbs that throw the light forward.
Great thinking Ben kind gesture Amos did the timber proud and that humble kit is not at all shabby but complimentary.
Kind regards to you both. Peter.Nil Desperandum

Pens and photography magnificent - light box looks as if it has been constructed by an electronic wizard with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Cheers, Shirley
