Laced Birdseye Maple Burl
I purchased this wood from eBay a few weeks ago and I turned this pen for a Christmas gift. I've never shaped a pen like this before. It was slightly more challenging than I thought it would be to get a nice shape.
Finish is 8 coats of CA and used micromesh.

Nice! That will make someone a nice Christmas present. Good transition from barrel to nib and nice work with that CA finish.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
