I have been on this forum for many years, the last couple as manly a looker only. But this current crop of pen turners on the forum are just blowing me away.
The great work is being done by this lot is just unbealive. Thank you all.

Very nice John. I've got a few laser kits on the way, hopefully i can do a good job like that on them.

Thanks for all the comments my friends ! but the real talent in these lies with the artistic talent and skills of the blank creator. Any experienced pen crafter can do these with ease . And Schaf you are right ,we do have a crop of talented and imaginative creative pen crafters currently contributing to these forums , Just keeps expanding the knowledge and boundaries of all of us ,cheers ~ John

I was pleasantly surprised actually, $US20.00 doesn't seem a lot to pay for a blank like that

I can imagine that one would be very careful when doing such a pen
one blowout and you could hear the screams all over the country

Cost is relevant to a degree , $25 is the most I will pay for these laser kits, as with the cost of a sierra kit on top it gets them into a higher price bracket than my regulars will pay (50 - 60 dollars ) seems the market tops for me ,of course there are exceptions ,but they don't come along every week lol.
here's another I just finished ,this one is ordered A sunflower in a pot

I saw them this morning marked $49.95 and I almost choked on my coffee
