Laser Cut Blanks
Hey There,
I got a Newsletter from GPW a few weeks ago and they were promoting Lazer Cut Blanks, I had to have some , I got some Rifles and Pink Ribbons and a Woodturner one, I did a couple of the Pink Ribbons for my bosses wife to use as Fund raising in the Relay for Life that was held here on Saturday, I did a Rifle one to see how they work and did the Woodturner one for my Dad. I will be ordering some more if there are any left.

That looks great Hazza., I reckon they will be popular.
Was it very fiddly putting all the bits on when glueing up ? ( I assume it comes in bits )

Hey Ironwood, yes they are fiddly to put together, especially when you have fingers like Sausages,

I have made a few of these laser kits now ... possibly a bit addictive !!! there are so many styles to choose from in the USA - have made galloping horse, horse shoes, grizzybear in a canoe, piano keyboard, wood turners tools, carpenter tools, music note, and have an eagle, aussie flag and a couple of others there to make.
A pair of long tweezers help, a magnifying glass and LOADS of patience!!!!
They do get lots of oh arrs from people.

Hey Guys,
Thanks for the feedback, I have ordered some more from GPW, I took one to Woodturners Group last week and asked Lazer Len wether we could do the same here, after some discussion on how the final product was achieved, we talked about costs, and he convinced me that $20.00 odd, was a bargain.
Hey Dave, let us know when you get home, I need to have a chat about some Metal lathe jobs.
