Lead Mechanism for Parker Refill pens
Hi Folks just wanted to see if anyone else bought the lead mechanisms/converters for pens with parker style refills from Timberbits?
Here is the set I made for my mate's 30th - pen and pencil set! (Massive Tigers supporter - go figure with the orange)

I bought a couple and only used one today. Swapped one of my everyday pens over and used it a little bit this afternoon. Seems good so far
I will repost an update in a couple of days after a bit more use,
Cheers Ben

Put one into a Sierra kit. You have to trim the top where there is a small ring to get it into the mechanism. Seems to be working OK. I like the thicker lead than the standard slim kit of 0.5mm.

Have now been using the Sierra pencil since my last post. Hasn't missed a beat, using daily for shopping lists etc. as I posted, like the thicker soft lead for everyday use.

Is it difficult to modify for sierra? I would be keen to try it if not too much work

It's dead easy. Trim the plastic ring at the top so it slides into the mechanism, this might not be necessary as there is some small variation in Sierra kits depending on the supplier. Checkout the demo on the Timberbits website,(where you buy the insert).
