    Default Legal Imports?

I believe that during the last pen swap something was posted about certian things being illegal to import to Australia. Was deer antler one of those? Could someone post a list of what can not be imported for those of us in the states. Thanks

yep sure is banned. We can get it in but costs $50 to get fumigated.
No animal products, no bark or seeds allowed into the country
    hope that helps

It's been a few years, but I have imported seeds before. At the time they had to be soil free, and clearly labelled with the botannical name (and some species were banned (Prickly Pear anyone?)) but it could be done. The quarantine website is pretty good at describing what can and can't be imported, and how. It does get a bit technical at times though.

The other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".
