Liam
Your expression says it all, pride and performance,Red Gum a good choice, neat finish the best fit will come to you soon, altogether a top effort. When I was eleven it was in the last year of the second world war and I am so pleased you are free to enjoy your life in a more relaxed time.
The finish was well prepared by carefull sanding.Proud father and rightly so.

Wow, thats great Liam, well done. Now I feel like I feel when I go to the skating rink and all those 5 year olds come whizzing past me and I am just about managing to keep my balance. Great work Liam, keep it up.
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

Well done Liam on your first pen; you have chosen a very creative interest and can only get better with lots of practice. The sky is the limit for you and now poor dad is going to wait in line for his turn on the lathe
Keep up the good work.

Well done Kevin. I think you will go on to do great pens. If like the rest of us the will pen bug will hit you and you will not want to wait long till you see what your next pen looks like.
