Default Lignum Vitae Fountain Pen & Ballpoint

Cleaning my shed, I found a few old (and I do mean OLD) kits lying around. Ones I put aside ages ago as beyond my ability at the time or straight out "what did I buy ths cr@p for?" So, being short of kits, I had a quick play with some of the ones that were "too hard" way back then. Piece of cake to asemble now but having done a couple, the rest will probably go into my "what did I buy ths cr@p for?" basket. There's sooo much better kits available now.

But then again... I have these ones. No money to spend or time wasted waiting on the post...

Due to flat batteries I only managed this one pic today... I'll take a decent photo of the ballpoint tomorrow. (If I remember to charge the batteries tonight. )

It's the old Mont Blanc version (I think), which uses a double-stepped tube. The new ones use ordinary 10mm(??) tubes. Looks the same on the outside, but the oldies are right buggars to assemble.

My mistake... 'tis not the old Mont Blanc, 'tis the old "European Deluxe."

I don't think they're available anymore, too many people complained about the stepped tubes. Of course, I could be wrong... wouldn't be the first time and certainly won't be the last.
