    Default Macadamia

Spalted Macadamia Seira pen kit from Timberbits thanks David took me a long while to get round to having a go with it but it looks and feels good.

sanded to 1200 micro mesh and buffed Friction polished

I'll try for better photo's tomorrow.

Nice pen, and well made. Thanks for sharing.

I like the prop you use for photography though. Probably takes away the focus from the pen a bit, but an interesting work in it's own right!

John, Macadamia has a range of colourins. The lighter timber still looks great because the grain looks so good.

sorry you fell RP to much rum again

I'll use who ever I can for pen parts not just Addictive, 043turing, Timberbits as long as they have what I am after the price is right and I have the need for the kits.

Thanks gents for all the comments

I agree i have this pen and a spalted pencil both same timber lot finished differently and yet the colour is far apart one highlighting the dark the other the lighter colours.
