nice bit of swirl, in the resins to give the required character
great match with the blanks and components
the cigar is my favorite pen to use and i have multitudes of them at work, at home and in the shed, but then i have a big mitt so i need a big pen
all the best

Thanks Mik.
The Cigar is a favorite of mine also, I dont seem to sell many of them for some reason, though this one is to replace one that did sell last week.
I do wish they would revamp/redesign the metal components though, it could be so much better.Brad.

Thanks Dallas.
I guess for the price they are a pretty good kit. I would like to see a more upmarket clip on them though, but the rest of the kit I like.
The first thing I would change is the outer profile on the upper coupling that presses into the lower barrel. That rounded profile makes it hard to get the flow of the lower blank looking right.Brad.

That is a smashing blank and a good looking pen too.
I like the Cigars as well - especially in the workshop. The Cigars have a real weight and character to them that I like.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks David.
I think the trouble is most people have been conditioned to write with a thin lightweight pen right from the early years at school.
I have convinced a few people who were reluctant to buy a bigger pen, by telling them to try it for a week, and if they dont like it, return the pen and I will refund them in full.
No one has asked for a refund yet, in fact some of them come back to thank me, because they love writing with the bigger pen once they start using it.Brad.

That's a very nice pen. That looks like a vertical cast, is it?
I like cigar pens too, and I really didn't like them much the 1st time I held one. My favorite is a sketch pencil cigar I got in a trade. It has 3mm lead (I think). Does anyone know where to get that kit?
