The Mighty Pen
Has anyone seen the 2 page article on Denis Moti's pens in the current Avenues Magazine published by the Newzeland, Chruchchrist local newspaper?
He makes and sells some pretty expensive pens, $600?

Wow 1800 pens sold. If that's in 12 months that's pretty good selling eh? Maybe its since he started making pens 4 years ago. Still not bad. Average sales if 12 months is 34 pens a week or if over 4 years, works out to nearly 9 pens every week. Pretty good market for pens eh?
Like Arthur said, he must have a good sales pitch.Reality is no background music.

That article make him sound like he has invented all of the pens and concepts like coffee beans and bullets pen.
I hope it is the reporter that has made it sound like that.
Good luck to him I wish I could stop work and make pens full timeCheers Rum Pig

Good luck to him I say
As for cost, I am currently working on an opal pen. Still accumulating suitable opals, and deciding on an actual kit, but it will probably go for around $2,500 if anyone is interestedNeil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Another idea pinched
I was going to do coffee beans
I'd have to agree with the second last paragraph
"People look at me sideways, because people don't make pens ..."

From the picture, I would say he is only as good as many others. He must have a market and selling talent to get that kind of price.
