    Default Mine's Bigger than ---- :)

Been a few bullets flying around lately ! hehe just finished this one . .50 machine gun

Pics not great one by flash and one in full sun ,the sample standard one is my usual effort ,but the .50 is not powdercoated as yet .will wait till I get some more ready for that. The bullet end is buffalo horn ,a bit left over from a pen I did recently ,seems to me this would be a desk pen sort of thing , a bit large for the pocket I would surmise , cheers ~John

For when you really need to stamp you're authority on something

Love the camo blank on the second one too.

    Looking good John.

I take it you don't have copper bullets for the .50BMG? I know they are hard to get.

Nah ! Fred this is a kit pen , I thought about turning a solid copper for it ,but the copper would cost more than the pen hehe! and it's heavy enough now .As it is I have to make a 20mm shell replica in brass, guy wants to put it on the end of a walking stick got the brass today,28 mm by 6 inches, solid .anyone need some brass filings hehe . Cheers~ John

    PSI have them http://woodturning.pennstateind.com/...ridge+pen+kits
I get through a reseller as I dont like PSI postage rates hehe.Either wood-n-whimsies or Woodturningz ,both are resellers , the kit is dead easy ,would of liked a parker style refill instead of the cross type though

Wow, I would have throught that you'd have room for a parker refil in a 50-cal bullet. Heck, you should have room for a few spares

Maybe the cross type ones are like a gatling gun???

Sounds like you never got over peeking in the stall next to you in the Gents , but like the guy in the movie I agree thats a pen. Good work, question how will you powder cote the brass after assembly.

    Have success continually. Peter.

Peter with these the whole activater and nib assembly simply screw into a pressed threaded insert in the neck of the shell, once unscrewed there is only brass left.simply seal the threaded insert while coating ,biggest problem is to stand it up in my mini oven hehe. cheers ~ John
