    Default Mother of Pearl

Here is the latest out of the shop. It is a chrome Baron rollerball with a segmented black and white Mother of Pearl blank. Thanks for looking and any questions or comments are always welcomed.

Beautiful pen, nicely finished, personally I would like to see the cap segmented as well, otherwise top stuff.

Well done John, that is some excellent segment work. Are they the thin layers of shell or is that a full cast?

I almost went that way and in fact I have the blank on the workbench. But I decided on the black cap to give the body more punch.

It is a full cast. When the light hits the pen just right the glimmer is real nice. Hard to show in a photo.

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words and the like buttons. I got more responce here than any other site I posted it on. The people here are a great bunch and it is appreciated. Hopefully I can pull off a couple more pens I have been working on in the shop in the near future. Thanks again for looking.
