One from Mulberry - I do like Mulberry
G'day folks,
Here is one I finished today after having a week long slack attack after having a plate taken out of my ankle last week.
It's a Chrome Flat Top American Cap Click pen made from Mulberry that I got from Dj, I just finished this one with the ole EEE and Shellawax.
You can give it a bagging if you like......hehehehehe

Yeah it's ok I guess Nah top piece of work Brett, you have got to love Mulberry. One of my three favourite yellow timbers. You were right about being slack, not your usual finishing method, you must have been hanging to do a pen. I have just worked out that I am on holidays when the Sydney show is on. I think I have a 3 day show I have to demostrate at the same time. It does mean I get to play on a woodfast lathe and there will be a VL100 there as well. I am told it has an inch 10 thread. Must be one of the first VL100 made because they went to a M30 thread now. Do they do the European in a click version? If so is there a matching pencil, same question about the American Flat top as well. Have a good show Brett.

Darren
I couldn't do my normal finish with Rustins cos that would of made the bottom barrell to thick and it would have been to tight to go up into the top barrell and the click would have been to tight thats the only reason i didnt do it.
They don't do I click version of the European Dble Twist well not that I know of I know there is a European Style twist pencil (cushioned 0.7mm lead) to match the Dble twist pen. There is a Flat Top American twist pencil to match the pens, I got some of those in our last shipment and they went like hot cakes.
Hope you have a lot of fun at your demo.
Thank you everybody for your kind words.

G'day Brett,
I saw the flat finish Mulberry first, and now that I see this one, I am going to have to give the mulberry blank I have a go. I must agree that I really like the look of it. Glad to see you are back on your feet (pardon the pun).
Take care,
Rick
