ive got the ok from to go ahead with this one

i seen on the IAP about a mystery swap
it involves a list of interested members to register there interest in being involved

unfortunately this will be for australian members only sorry to those abroad

then its starts with a the organiser filling a box of pen blanks , pen kits or anything else to do with pen blanks in it then sending it to the next on the list
that person then take a picture of whats inside when it arrives then take what they would like from the carton and refillingit with some things from their shed

not telling what you put back inside the carton then PM the organiser as he is the only one that has the list and the order that it is drawn to find out the next member that the box is to be sent and finally doing the circle and returning to the organiser

the only cost involved is going to be the 3 kg prepaid bag required to ship between members

i am voluntering my time to be the organiser

the deadline for being involved is going to midnight friday the 20th of august
i will then be doing the draw over that weekend and will be contacting the first person on the list to start the ball rolling
    Hi Troy

I have made my user name from roger waskow to Islander so you know who you talking to. Seeing as I am living on Russell Island I thought it's quite appropriate. So, please count the Islander in.

Was there a cost to all this or is it just fill the box back up and pay for postage ?

I understand how shipping costs preclude those of us way-way on the other side of the pond being able to participate.
Nevertheless, I am drooling over what you have available in the way of beautiful exotic woods.
A forum I belong to does pen blanks swaps and they are fun.
Our problem, however, is some participants want to give more than they take. I think the last swap started with one box and ended up with two.
    Enjoy.

    Hey Ian,

As stated in the #1 post, the only cost to us will be a 3kg Post Bag to send the gear to the next recipient, and a few trinkets traded from our own supplies, Should be around 12 bucks, ( unless the thing gets bigger than 3kg that is. )

    can't wait 9 more sleeps

ian the only costs to everyone is the 3 kg prepaid post bag to forward to the next member and whatever you decide to place in the box

what you put back into the box is up to you when its your turn anything involved with pen turning blanks ,kits or anything related to it as long as it fits in the box

as i have mentiond in a earlier post i have valued if i had to buy what i placed in the box and i belive its $100 of value
