Nakes thanks to Ian
With Ians help I have been having a go at casting snake skins.
I gave one to my niece as a present a while ago and people at her work want them.
I made her this batch and she can sell them at work to the people who want them.
They will technically be my first sale, although I'll let her keep all the money for her mortgage that she just got.

Thanks Guys,
The skin really does have a nice pattern.
The colour is a little bit lighter than Ians but that is because I had trouble understanding plain english.
Ian gave me proper instructions but I mucked up, did the colour over 2 blanks where his instructions were for 1 blank.
Next time..
But in the end its just a different colour and someone will want them that way.

Nice work Peter,
And as has been said in an earlier post I like how you have the pattern of the skin showing within the blank.
Great Work and thanks for sharing
Cheers
Tony.

This one is from one of the blanks from the first post.
I wanted to have a play with animated gifs.
Need to do it again in the daytime instead of with a desk lamp and a wobbly tripod.
Seems you actually have to click on the image to see it animated.pen2a.gif

well mate the pens look great, great job on the different colors... one prob... snakes, i don't like them too much at all
i must say though a number of years ago i had a play with making animated GIFs and it was fun, making a little man run around a box and pictures change color not to mention rotating question marks, never thought to use it as a 360 rotating picture of pens. fantastic idea and adaption, you watch, there will be no stopping it now
all the best
