    Cut up some Olive I cut about a year or two ago, shows promise.

    Beautiful Peter, who would want BOW when you have got olive like that here. there is some really great looking promise in that stuff. Be interesting to see some finished pens.

    Cliff i know you just want to try out a certain vacuum faceplate that's all : ) The only way that would become a bowl is if you could use a bowl saver to get multiple bowls instead of losing it all in shavings

    What cliff said, way too good looking to make pens out of ...although, made into pens rather than bowls would make it more valuble

    What diameter is that log? Didn't you need to paint the end grain of the log before you stored it?

    Olive wood takes some beating and makes beautiful pens. Looking forward to seeing some from the log.
