Ode to Wooley Mammoths
Years ago Ed Brown and I exchanged pens so he made me this Pen from Wooley Mammoth chips. This pen was an IAP direct swap to me.
In the Spirit of Steampunk the No 2 Wood head, a knitting needle,T Bear skin and my old favourite slice of Brown Mallee burl for the tundra here it is. I rang Ed And sought his permission to display his pen again it was great to visit him on the phone again.
Mammoths became extinct many thousands of years ago and the remains appear every so often preserved in various forms in Alaska and Europe.
Each swap pen has great meaning to me stressing the value of exchange ideas and learning.
I had fun trust you like the theme.
Kind regards Peter.DSCF0008-001.jpgDSCF0015-001.jpgDSCF0014-001.jpgDSCF0019-001.jpgNil Desperandum

First off, you never cease to amaze!
Second, love the Mammoth, and third, that pen is off the hook wild!
There was a lot of effort, though and design put into that, your a lucky guy to have that in your collection!"That's why I love my computer,,,,,,,, my friends live in it."

You never cease to amaze me with the perfection with which you produce your works of art. The latest mammoth discovered was, I believe, in the last 5 years in the (Northern or Southern?) ice cap and perfectly preserved.
