    Default Oh, No##!!*^*##!!............

Had a wreck due to "Operator Error" with a Japanese Chiyogami blank I got from Penl8the (Branden)!
Now how am I going to save this beautiful blank???????

Plugged damaged end with Bee's Wax, dipped the end in Med CA, sprayed with accelerator several times to build up the CA on the damaged end.
Turned down, sanded with 400x and buffed with super fine steel wool.

Turned out a lot better than I thought it would.

Photos of the completed pen to follow.

As much as I hate to say it
I'm sorta pleased that a Master can have problems we mere mortals have all the time

thanks for showing, I now have a couple of ideas to save a coconut blank I did the same to a little while ago

How well does the CA bond to the acrylics?
    regards

    Hey Nick,

The CA bonds very well to the Polyester Resin.
