Ok, I need some help
In a previous thread, the pen I made had yellow and green in it...and someone mentoned that was Australia's "colors", green and gold...your nations flag is red, white and blue, so I am guessing the colors green and gold are for a sports team?
If so, what team, what sport, and could you point me to a link or some photos?
I have an pen idea, but it needs some examples before I start turning...
Thanks,
Ed

Correct Ed, our Olympic team colours are Green and Gold, and any international sporting event they are our national colours. Amos

Not so much a team flag, its more of a national sporting flag.
Have a read of this info here, it should get you started on what you're afterCheers

Yes, the colours of our flag are Red, White & Blue. Our national sporting colours are green & gold though. Here is the Wiki page with some info on them
(you gotta be quick around here!)
CorbsIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.

Ok...
With DJ's link and the Wiki info, I got the idea down.
Proportion is not critical...I saw green with gold stripes, and a uniform with equal amounts...so my original idea will work.

I have two words for your Gold and Green "JOHN DEERE" The worldwide colors for Quality, Performance and Reliability. I noticed you put an accent of black next to the yellow just like they do at JD's. You can't fool me. This is a conspiracy. You are not interested in our nations colors, just trying to honour the manufactureres and using us as an alibi. Good on you. I'm Proud

I believe that our national colours are (or were) really blue and gold and the green and gold was adopted by popular usage especially after the various rugby teams played on the international stage
green and gold looks good on the various jumpers, guernseys etc but terrible in formal wearregards
