Painted tube acrylic
Hi,
It was suggested by Dorno and LRG that I should paint the brass tubes of my acrylic pens. So I bought some nail polish and gave it a try. The pen is a Baron 2 rollerball and it is for a graduation present.
Thanks the tip guys, it is much appreciated.

Sorry - that should have been LRP not LRG. Thinking too much of work.

There is a great depth of colour in that Todd. I think the painting has done the trick!!!

You can also paint the inside of the blank. On really clear blanks, that works better because sometimes you can see the glue. What color did you paint the tubes?

Nice work Todd. Lovely pen. The painted tube makes the colours stand out. Experiment with different colours on the tubes to get different effects
