I saw one of the seed pod pens finished a little while ago. Come up real nice. Got any photos corbs?

We didn't finish turning any pens that day but there's a completed Liquid Amber one on this thread.

On the bark ones (Slash Pine I think) I had big problems with the tissue paper I apply the CA finish sticking to it. This isn't something I've encountered on any other surface so I might have to look at applying with a plastic bag to see if that works better. I've never really been happy with that method of application though.

Thanks Corbs, that has come up very nicely along with the rest of the collection pictured. I think Neil's idea of sanding the pods down so they sit closer together would create an even more spectacular effect.
