    Default It pays to tidy up (sometimes) :)

    Been doing other things than pens to get the house in order and such, tidying my kits and blanks I found this one hiding away (it's one of GPW's) couldn't resist so a quick drill and glue-up this afternoon and soon had a nice pen. not for everone I don't think, and no idea how they produce this blank, but it certainly will attract attention , buyers may be another matter hehe, The Kit is a gun-metal phoenix ,the pic is with flash so not true color,it is in reality a very dark blue .

    Thanks for the comments Mik ! Here's the link GPW It does give me some ideas to work on though with casting some inserts into blanks if I can find the right sort of inserts hehe ,will try one of your "metallica" this week as almost caught up on long neglected chores LOL, cheers ~ John

    Had to check with the offcut of the blank yes Neil! the stars get smaller as the diameter decreases, which blows my theory of them being inserts that go all the way through to the other side . Cheers ~ John
