    Default First PC

    i got a heap of PC canes from ToniNZ which arrived on Friday only to find that i couldn't buy a pasta machine in Sale over the weekend for under $100, so i hit ebay and the machine arrived today

    i held off even trying to make anything without the pasta machine, which i was pretty proud of myself for waiting, normally i would of jumped in boots and all

    so here is my first PC offering, i am sure that SWMBO will acquire it first thing in the morning

    it is a Secret Compartment Key Ring with some small leaves i purchased a while ago and some flowers from ToniNZ, the canes i got from Toni were amazing, she is a very talented artist

    sanded to 12000mm and 6 coats of BLO/CA and a quick buff with white buffing compound

    i thought i would take it easy on the first try, all the girls love it so i think it will fill that female void that i have

    next is a pen, but not tonight have to go to a spring concert, maybe tomorrow after work

    thanks Toni, i did sort of wreck that cane when i tried to reduce the size, it started to fall apart

    is there a trick to rolling them out a bit smaller or are they stabilized at that size

    thanks for all the info and the fantastic canes, i love the frog and can't wait to get little fella onto a couple of pens
