My first pen
Hey Guys
Well guys here it is my very first pen its final done I think I done very well but it will be a while before I am anywhere near you guys I needed more practice putting on the CA finish I did get my finger stuck to paper towel a few time . The pen was made from a blank I got from HazzaB not sure what it is but it might be camphor sap wood sanded to 1200g then micro mesh and finished with 20 coats of CA all comments welcome

Well done , nice lines and fit ,chrome is a good choice as it will outlast the gold for wear, and you will wear it hehe, CA finishing has a few terrors associated with it ,which you discovered keep the acetone handy at all times . I think it was about a year before I tried the CA finishes ,still don't always get it right , And I still don't think slims are the easiest pens to make lol. Try and get some quality time with someone to learn the art of the skew chisel as it will be your most important tool in the times to come ,mine was just a scraper for a long time hehe. Cheers ~ John

Thanks every for the kind comments I plan on doing some more later on today so I will post some more later on today. I am glad you all like the pen I am very happy with the end result.
