Been a while since I have made a Pen so done some today
Hi All,
Its true other than the odd one here or there not made too many lately, other than a couple of decal executive Sierras. So thought I would get a few in today ready for some turning and decals
All cut, drilled, glued and ready for turning.
Cheers Tony

Hi Ian,
Just letting the glue dry mate like to leave them overnight even though it is 5min epoxy rapid cure. Still takes 24hrs for it to reach full cure
Would love to turn some tomorrow but going on a 40 odd klm hike tomorrow
Cheers

Mmmm, was thinking about it Trev, thats how I done the sample and then turned the last little bit by hand to get a little shape to it. Might try the wood lathe and the metal lathe and see what is the quickest, geezzz I wish I had more hands lol.
Cheers
Tony.

Geez Tony, heap of work, well done
Just a question though, why not adhere the label to the white tubes, then cast in clear? I assume these have CA finish, so a lot more work.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Hi Neil,
I went this way as I was sure I could get the finish I wanted without any bubbles I will be trying the other way once I get this lot out of the way though, as I agree it would be a lot less work and yes correct CA finish.
Cheers
Tony.
