    Default Not a Pen , but :

    Gold plated razor in water buffalo horn , uses a 7mm tube and turned on a pen mandrel , so posting it here lol. Takes Gillette Mach three blades (cheaper at Aldi's ) hehe , for the man who has everything ,most likely not got one of these cheers ~ John ( Its also on a gold plated stand )

    Great job John, I've been thinking about doing one of these for myself, maybe when we get into the new house &the new workshop is finished.

    It looks very dark, almost black. Is this the normal colour of a buffalo horn? Nice job on the razor.

    Christos ! yes this is the normal color of the water buffalo horn,sometimes a hint of white or grey streaks will show up ,almost like a grain in timber, not hard to turn ,a bit like fingernail material
    this is just sanded and polished like a normal acrylic blank ,and a touch of Maguires polish . It can smell a little if you get it too hot,but not that bad , similar to Deer horn
