Default Pen numbers 2 & 3 & some key rings

Here are my second and third pens.

No.2 is a European Style Roundtop ballpoint double twist. I had a little trouble with this kit and the refill doesn't go all the way back in although I'm sure the cap is exactly the length stated in the instructions. The timber is Silky Oak.

No.3 is an Elegant American Ball Point single twist. This is the best of three I've done so far. The timber is Burdekin Plum.

I've found the key rings are useful for practice. The timbers from L-R are 2 x Mango, Spotted Gum & 2 x Grevillia. Enjoyed these.

Coming on nicely, those timbers work well, never made a key ring feel deprived but will now remedy that, possibly because you pay about the same for a kit as a pen kit.,I find it hard to visualise when sending a reply they are off screen. You are to be commended.

PS Came back to say your turning is very neat fitting to the hardware.
