    Talking My work pen

    Evening all,
Well I figured that if I make pens for a hobby then I may as well have a nice one on my desk. I have never liked fountain pens as they always scratched the paper but thought I could work through it. I am very happy to say that this lays down ink better than any pen I have ever used. I doubt I will get many/any orders for these due to the completed cost but as my personal work pen, I love it. I should add that I also have a Black Titanium Sierra in Olive and a Chrome Baron in Gidgee but this is the one I grab when I am heading to a meeting now.

    Enjoy,
    Corbs

    Thats a great looking pen.

Make sure you lock it up at night. You might return one day and find the beautiful piece missing.

Is that a Imperial kit or Bamboo kit?

That is a stunning combination of blank and kit, very impressive.

Like David said, make sure you lock it up when away from your desk.

Wow Corbs - that's a very nice kit - I love it! The timber is also pretty spectacular!

Like you, I finally turned myself a pen last weekend, something that I would use at work (purple gidgee on a chrome baron). Looked great, my favourite so far. The only problem is that a friend who came over that night for dinner loved it so much HE wanted to buy it, even before I snapped off a pic!

I'll have to keep an eye out for one of those kits.

    Top job!

    Nathan.

Thanks for the complements on the boxes. Was just about to start up a new batch next week after I turn a few more pens. Haven't made a pen in over 3 weeks.

Don't forget there are a lot of Civilians creeping around the defense force these days as well. The screening level may not be as high for them, especially the cleaners.

It's beautiful! And, yes, it's an Imperial. Wonderful piece of buckeye burl you chose for that. All in all, a very good match. Bet it gets lots of attention in meetings.
