    Default Pen turning adiction

Hi, my name is stevo and i have a pen tuning addiction hehehe. This are the latest batch of pens to come out of my workshop for sale as i travel around with work.

Also my first attempt at a closed end pen, it came out pretty well but hope my next attempt will be better. Cocobolo has an amazing grain. I was fortunate enough to pick up a box of 100 blanks a few months back. Should last me for a little while

    Thanks for looking

    Stevo

    Stevo,

The long and short of your pen is right the sapwood livens it Cocobolo is a favourite of mine as well. Looks like your are having fun with a profit oportunity as you travel, have success.

A nice set of pens Stevo, looks as though you have had the addiction for a while. The Cocobolo just stands out. As Peter said the sapwood is the feature that draws attention to the pen. Then you see the skill level of a double closed end plus a hidden clip, doing away of all the original metal hardware, plus smooth clean lines to the design.

What type of finish did you use on the pen? If that is your first attempt Stevo i am in trouble, still finding pieces of my first attempt. To ease the pain of the addiction you could send me that pen You have a good standard Stevo and will be waiting to see more. Keep them coming.

A really nice set of pens. I hope you are doing well with them. Could I suggest a different background for the pics, the red takes away from the pen.
