Pen blanks in Rare, Colourful & Figured Woods
Hello Penmakers
(Hope I dont get the flick for posting this. It may be the wrong place.
I have been cutting rare, colourful and figured Australain woods for many years. The small sizes and rarity lend themselves to pens. Many are highly figured, others in burl form. Most would suit the more experienced pen malers as turning and finsihing is more difficult.
Most are Australian natives. They will add interest and value to the pens you make, thats for sure. The selection is very large and colurs very contrasting.
Contact me if you are seriously interested. Minimum numbers apply.

"rare, colourful and figured Australian woods" is a bit vague, need some actual species photos and prices.

Yes it is a bit vague because there are so many and the range is so great. Here is a sample ....
Many are acacias ( dryland mostly) figured ironwood wattle, ringed northern boree, ringed gidgee, purple wood wattles (3, waddywood, purple gidgee, and a dead finish) to name a few. Figured red lancewood, conkerberry, ornage boxwood, greenheart, figured grey mangrove, birdseye and fiddleback jarrah, wandoo and other eucalypts (pale & dark), a black coolabah, black ironbox ... others include ringed / fiddleback coolabah, figured emu apple, yapaunyah burl (many other burls), figured and birdseye Huon pine, ancient (black) eucalypts ('000s years old). Many figured sheoaks & bullokes . figured rosewoods, ivorywood, bonewood, canarywood, goldywood,
Thats enough for starters. Prices range from $1 to $3 each mostly, but some very unusual and rare ones may be $5-$10 EACH eg spotted ebony, pink ivory. No apologies for these high prices for VERY special pieces.
Photos? Maybe later or best sent to serious inquirers who make serious inquiries by email. I am unsure if and how to sell here so this is just to measure interest. I havent sold in packs or same species like advertised, usually mixed species.
Cheers Euge
