Question Does this pen make my hands look small?

This was a pen I made for this years IAP 2011 Casing Challenge. Never having made a cartridge pen before I decided to use a 105MM Howitzer casing a friend gave me a while back. It was cut down several inches from it's original length by someone long ago which would have made it longer than the 19 1/4 inches (490mm) and a little heavier than the 6.3 pounds (2860grams) it ended up being. The "bullet" is Curly Western Maple and the cap for the nib is Crotch figured Black Walnut. It is finished with General Finishes Enduro-Var, Water Based Urethane. The fountain pen parts came from an El Toro.

I had fun making it even if it wasn't a winner
I am pretty sure it won't get lost among the papers on the desk.
