I like a one piece pen where bits and pieces cant get lost.
What would be a high end twist or click pen that gives you plenty of realestate for timber?

should have clarified when I said one piece I do not mean 'one piece' I mean not a lid that comes off and can be lost.
Hope that makes sense

I have stopped doing the Gold Slimlines to sell as i have found the plating does wear off quicker than either I or the customer would expect, although one of the first I made still works fine. Now I tend to stick to the Chromies as I'm yet to see any issues with the plating. I wouldnt even mind paying more for a slimline with decent plating.
Recently I screwed up a slimline and made it undersized for the streamlined centre band so I didnt use one and it looks ok to me. Really enhances the continuity of the timber.
I'm looking at expanding my range as I have just been asked to do some for the local museum, so Im looking for something different to my standard stuff. I have only just started looking but finding it hard to decide on something that will showoff the timber really well oh and my skills . Maybe I need to enlarge my supplier base.
Occasionally I do look at the manufactures sites and like what I see, but buying 50 - 1000 units just aint going to happen for me, so I'm at the mercy of the distributors and what they bring in. I understand the money etc involved but would love to have a crack at one or two of their "High End Kits".
Cheers
Shawn

I don't make many slimlines, but I do get the occasional request for matching pen and pencil sets, I use the Rodium or Black Titanium slimline kits from Carbatec, they cost a bit more but the coating is nice and thick, and the components seem to be good quality.
The only comeback I have had with any of them, was a pencil unscrewed itself in a womans handbag and she lost some parts, it cost me another kit to fix it, but she is a good customer and has bought plenty of my pens, so I don't mind.Brad.
