Pen Lathe Vacuum System
Today I purchased from Aldi a 2000 watt vac that is bagless it will retain its suction as the dust fills it will not choke down. I have been using a wet dry tub however it takes a long time and messy to say the least to clean the pleated filter. The connection was easy to adapt by turning an adapter from a plastic water fitting,my main source of connection material. The tube connected passes thru the rails of the lathe as my previous article shows clearly. My experience is the main turnings go anywhere but dust is well captured, what prompted my change I have this large fern root to turn and wanted the least handling of the dust. The dust level can be seen as well so looks promising.
