Pen from last years mystery box
This is a cigar pen made from purely the bark of the Red Iron Bark. The blank I received form a mystery box swap that was run last year and was put in by Fred aka "Big Shed". Finish is WOP and the pen kit is rhodium. An extremely hard pen to photograph.

I like it very much Sam, and I find that red Iron Bark shows up better in presence than photos. Amos

Nice Sam.
Magic piece of timber. Really like the color patterns of red and black.

Very special pen !. I've been on the lookout for an Ironbark tree around Cairns, but alas, I have yet to find one. . Plenty of palm trees though.
