I checked the prices in the US and with postage it did not work out any cheaper so I bought mine from Woodnworkshop. They have the R2 and R4 tungsten tip replacements for a reasonable price and they last a long while. I am using the R2 for pen turning.

Nice job on the handles, is it a good tool? I have considered buying an insert and making my own

Ben it is amazing to use. They would be easy to make and probably work out cheaper in materials, then you have the time to make it. The 1/2"x2" tang is very good, but I found you needed to drill a 13mm hole and that allowed just enough room for expoy around the tang to glue it in place. I did put it between a clamp to hold it in place till the expoy dried. I then attatched the R2 cutter after the glue dried.
That yo for the kind words regarding the handle. The Pen Pro cuts like nothing else, so much superior for turning trustone. I have tried it on timber and resin and the finish from the chisel is smooth and clean. I will keep it only for the trustone though, as I can always use the practice with the skew on the timber and resin.
