    Default pen refills

    G'day all
Today I went to the local stationary shop to purchase a refill for a slimline twist pen.(carbatec kit I think). The price was $3.50 and I thought that expensive.
How much do you people pay and where is the best place to buy.
    Regards Terry

Terry I know if you buy genuine Cross refills you can pay upto $6 or more. I have bought a generic version from Officeworks or Kmart in their Office One brand and are called a universal refill, 2 to a card for around $3.95. If they made a refill in a gel ink then it would be nice.

Lots of the normal suppliers of the pen kist also have refills.

some also have spare tubes too.

If you are buying your refills at the right price, It can give you real good leverage to offer a "Free refill with every pen sold"
Because the customers will be paying lots for a refill.

The truth of the matter is that it probaly costs more for the retail packaging that the refills themselves.

    cheers
